Dr. Matthew Manas was raised primarily in Montgomery, Alabama but also has roots in Southern California, bringing a blend of southern charm and west coast enthusiasm to his practice. His journey into dentistry was driven by the desire to create a comfortable life for his family while integrating his passion for healthcare and working with his hands.

A graduate of the University of Southern California Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry, Dr. Manas has developed a wealth of experience and skills that allow him to make dental visits as easy as possible for his patients. He takes great pride in using his expertise to enhance patient comfort and care, ensuring that each visit is a positive experience.

Dr. Manas values creating a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and well-cared for. His approachable nature ensures that patients can easily communicate their concerns and feel heard. Outside the office, Dr. Manas enjoys a variety of activities that keep him active and engaged. He loves playing basketball, tennis, snowboarding, surfing, and hiking, always seeking new adventures. Additionally, Dr. Manas is an avid chess player and has a thrilling item on his bucket list: bungee jumping. His zest for life and diverse interests contribute to his dynamic and well-rounded approach to both his personal and professional life.

Dr. May was born and raised in Southern California, where her childhood experiences at the dentist’s office had a lasting impact. What began as fear eventually turned into appreciation, and these early visits inspired her to pursue a career where she could make a difference in children’s dental experiences. She understands how important a child’s first visit is and is dedicated to providing that positive, lasting impression.

Dr. May earned her Dental Hygiene degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC. She then completed her Pediatric Residency through NYU Langone Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry, at their Hawaii site. These experiences, paired with her love for helping others, allow her to create a nurturing and supportive environment for her young patients.

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. May finds the most rewarding part of her job to be the ability to transform how kids feel about dental visits. Helping children overcome their fears and empowering them to take charge of their oral health is what drives her every day. Her calm demeanor and patience make her a comforting presence for children and their families.

Outside of work, Dr. May enjoys staying active with her husband. From golfing to rock climbing and pickleball, she loves challenging herself with new activities. A highlight of her adventures was spending two months on safari in Africa, fulfilling a long-time dream. She’s always ready for her next adventure, both in and out of the dental office.

Raised in Sandy, Utah, Dr. Justin Durrant is now married with two children and lives in Las Vegas. He is known for his calm, approachable nature and values the importance of building trust with every patient.

Dentistry runs in Dr. Durrant’s family; his father is a general dentist, and that inspired him to follow a similar path. Dr. Durrant takes a conservative and thoughtful approach to oral surgery, always prioritizing patient comfort and clear communication. His goal is to provide high-quality, essential care while making each visit feel smooth and stress-free.

Outside of the office, Dr. Durrant is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his loved ones, traveling to new destinations, and staying active on the golf course. Whether he’s exploring new places or enjoying a quiet weekend at home, it’s time with loved ones that he values most.

Education:

Dr. Chen earned his DDS and Master of Science degrees at UCLA. He specializes in endodontic services and performs these procedures across multiple locations in Las Vegas.

He is board eligible across multiple specialties, including related surgery apicoectomy, perforation repair, immature apices service, root canal, and root canal retreats. Although this all sounds very technical, it means that he can help restore your tooth and get your smile back to full health.

In his spare time, he enjoys reading books – the paperback kind, not digital.

Credentials:

Preston has been a registered dental hygienist since 2018 and is a United States combat veteran. Prior to hygiene school, he served in the Air Force for six years, followed by the Air National Guard for six years.

On his days off, he loves to explore Las Vegas and its food and drink scene, grill out, and watch the game (Bear Down!) or horror films at his house. He also loves listening to podcasts and traveling as much as possible. In addition, Preston is a tiki enthusiast who is always trying to master the classic cocktails.
